Ruby in Fuchsite is a stone where corundum  (ruby) crystals are suspended in a mineral called fuchsite and the contrasting colors of reds and greens hold a lot of fascination for lapidaries and gemologists.  I enjoy working with this stone as I don't often come across it, and it always reminds me of rose blooms and foliage... I kept this design fairly open, but carefully made a bunch of double coils at the base of the bail for added "specialness!"
